GSAS Research Grants

All currently enrolled Appalachian graduate students in good academic standing are eligible to apply for a research grant of up to $500. This grant can be used for research supplies, research related expenses, or necessary travel to conduct the research. Students who expect to incur travel expenses related to presenting their research are encouraged to apply for a GSAS Travel Grant. Priority will be given to research projects that are not thesis or capstone exit projects. For thesis/capstone exit research projects, students should apply for a Graduate Student Research Grant. If additional research money is needed to complete the project, you may also apply for an OSR Research Grant.

Note: In order to apply for this grant, your program/department must have a GSAS senator.
